Training & Deployment of CPIMS+ for UNICEF PNG Field Office

I spent a couple of weeks training Child Protection officers (CPO) from around the country on how to report child protection cases and collect data electronically using tablets.

Unfortunately PNG suffers from a lack of information on the nature, extent and drivers of child protection concerns as well as a national child protection system for routine collection of timely and accurate data; its secure and efficient managementas well as storage and use.
Therefore, before we implemented Primero there were no mechanisms to facilitate information sharing, monitoring, quality control and accountability for how chld protection cases were handled.

This contract was a part of our ongoing long term agreement with UNICEF
